1. Data We Collect
AXess collects the following information to provide and improve the Service:
- Account information — email address, full name, and authentication credentials
- Career profile — job titles, skills, industries, experience level, work preferences, location, salary expectations, and career goals
- CV / Resume — uploaded documents are parsed to extract text content for AI matching and tailoring
- Job interaction history — actions you take on matched jobs (apply, reject, remind, etc.)
- Scoring preferences — relevance and likelihood weights, notification thresholds, and custom keywords
- Payment information — managed entirely by Stripe; we store only your Stripe customer ID, not card details
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Search for and score job listings based on your profile
- Generate tailored CVs and cover letters for matched positions
- Send email notifications with your curated job matches
- Process your subscription and billing
- Improve our AI matching algorithms and Service quality
3. Third-Party Services
AXess uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and data storage. Your data is secured with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own records.
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions. Stripe handles all payment data and complies with PCI-DSS standards. We never see or store your card details.
- Google — OAuth authentication (Google Sign-In) and Google Drive integration for document storage.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).
Job interaction history and anonymized usage data may be retained in aggregate form for analytics and Service improvement.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access, update, or correct your personal data through your Settings page
- Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
- Object to automated decision-making based on your data

6. Cookies
AXess uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Authentication cookies are managed by Supabase and are required for the Service to function.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security in our database, and secure authentication practices. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Your continued use of AXess after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
